All You Need to Know When Preparing Capsule Wardrobe

Most mornings, we are intimidated when we open the closet to get dressed. Even before we start the day, we spend all our energy trying to decide what to wear. Or maybe we think we have nothing to wear and start the day morally behind 1-0.

The solution to this problem is actually hidden in the previous article: capsule wardrobe :) Capsule wardrobe is one of the most efficient ways to manage both our time and expenditures correctly in our lives that we have difficulty in finding time for ourselves.

Well, how to prepare a capsule wardrobe?

Capsule wardrobe, especially in four-season countries like ours, is usually prepared seasonally and renewed at the change of seasons. For seasons of 3 months, capsules of about 25-30 pieces can be prepared.

Our Marrakech capsule is a small capsule collection consisting of 6 pieces… Mix the tops as you wish, the shorts however you want… Complete with earrings and tatatatamm, the combination is ready!

Although it may seem difficult to reduce a cabinet to 25 pieces, we have listed all the necessary steps for you in the rest of the article...

Define your lifestyle correctly.

Where and what do you spend most of your time doing? Do you work in the office 5 days a week and out on the weekends? Are you working from home? Do you often do sports in your spare time from work? Determining the number of pieces in your cabinet according to this weight will allow you to get the most efficiency out of your cabinet.

Get to know your own style.

When creating a capsule wardrobe, it is extremely important to choose timeless pieces that reflect your own style rather than the fashion of the year. You should discover which silhouettes you feel comfortable with and include these silhouettes in your wardrobe.

Consider whether you wear loose or tight-fitting clothes more often to suit your body type. Your must-have skirt or pants? Are skinny jeans or carrot-cut trousers the pieces that define you?

Determine your colors.

Identify the neutral colors you wear most often, such as black, brown, and cream, and the auxiliary colors you enjoy wearing the most.

After making these three basic definitions clearly, it will actually be a detailed but very enjoyable editing process.

Here the hardest part is over :) After doing these, the work is left to the details… The details to be considered while preparing a capsule wardrobe are in our next article…
